Applefest 2015

This week several vendors from the Warwick Valley Farmers’ Market will participate in Applefest.  We will not be in our normal space on South Street, but across the street in the Kuiken’s Parking Lot.  We will return to our normal market space next Sunday 10/11.

Please read to the bottom for more news for Applefest Sunday

Be sure to visit the following vendors at Applefest:

Soons Orchards with cider, apples, donuts, jams, applebutter and candy apples

Buddhapesto with their award-winning pesto

Hummingbird Ranch with honey, bee products, candles, and maple products

Warwick Valley Winery and Black Dirt Distillery with award-winning wines, hard ciders and distilled products.

We know many folks don’t want to fight the crowds in the Village and not have all our vendors available.  For those of you who want to avoid the crowds, try to take the short drive to W. Rogowski Farm for brunch on the farm and then head over to Hillery Farm at 118 Liberty Corners Road to patronize many of our vendors who do not participate in Applefest.  Peg’s Eggs (of course), Madura Farms, W. Rogowski Farm, Calkins Creamery cheeses, and prepared food from Jeannie Bastable, the Farmers’ Daughter will be available at the Market on Hillery Farms for your convenience.

We’ll see you next Sunday with more early Autumn produce for your table.

Happy Applefest.
